Povl-André has an M.Sc. from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and has attended several International management programs. Povl-André has held a number of management and executive roles, including CEO, CFO and board of directors positions in private technology, medical technology, biotech, pharma, food, service companies and foundations, including DELTA, ALK-Abelló, Danisco (DuPont), KPMG and Appium Partners.
Povl-André has also conducted several investments, turn-around and business transactions including spin-outs and M&A.
Michael Pålsson Chief Operating Officer
Previously the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Upfront, Michael held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Upfront Chromatography from 2013 to 2015.
Michael has a B.Sc. from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and B. Comm. from the Copenhagen Business School (CBS), and has attended several international management programs at INSEAD and IMD. Michael has held a number of advisory, leadership and executive roles, including Chief Executive Officer and Board Director positions of several private biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, including Medtronic A/S, Bonesupport AB, Bioneer A/S and Appium Partners P/S.
Over the years Michael has also conducted a number of business transactions ranging from licensing, spin-outs to M&A.
Kenneth W. Harlow, Ph.D. CTO/CSO Chief Technology- and Science Officer
Kenneth holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and has extensive experience in protein chemistry with emphasis on protein structure-function and bioanalysis. He has held both academic and private sector R&D and R&D Management positions and has served as director of R&D for several small biotech companies. Kenneth’s experience includes positions at Novo Nordisk, Zealand Pharma, Danisco, Exiqon and ilochip.
His broad career experience provides him with expertise in fields as diverse as food sciences to medical diagnostic devices, with the unifying theme of identifying, isolating, purifying and understanding the functions of proteins within the applications found in these various sectors.
Kenneth has broad commercial experience working with Business Development, Intellectual Property and Innovation Management. He is an author/inventor on four diverse patent families and he has published significantly in the top tier peer-reviewed scientific literature.
